Clean, Safe, and Sustainable Grants
The DVBA allocates funds to organizations that produce events that contribute toward making downtown Victoria welcoming, vibrant. We also support events that highlight downtown Victoria as the preferred regional hub for business, culture, services, and amenities.
The deadline for submissions is typically the end of October each year, with funds being allocated in January.
District and Event Support Grants 2020 – 2021
At present, the DVBA is not offering event grants for the year 2021. This page will be updated when that changes.
Security Grants
The DVBA is offering up to $500 on a 50% cost-share basis for businesses to purchase improved locks, protective film for windows, security cameras, or other physical measures to increase security. These grants will be available while funds last. Businesses are encouraged to pre-apply before beginning work, in order to ensure there are still funds available.
Vandalism Repair Grants
Due to funding provided by the City of Victoria, the DVBA is offering grants to Victoria businesses affected by break-ins and vandalism.
