529 Pandora Avenue, built in 1884, originally housed Tye Chong, a Chinese-owned grocery store. Later, it became home to the BC Produce Company, whose name remains visible on the building’s facade.

Known officially as the Tye Chong Building, it is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places for its cultural and historical significance. While located next to the Market Square complex, it is not legally part of that development.
