BIKE
Biking is hugely popular. There are a few bike lanes now, and more on the way. Grab your helmet and hey, it never hurts to brush up on your bike skills.
Ride on down to Centennial Square and get treated like a VIP! Free, safe, valet-style bicycle parking at City Hall, right off of Pandora Ave. Like a coat-check, but for e-bikes, cargo bikes, skateboards and more.
Don’t have a bike? There are many options to buy a bike, rent a bike, or rent an electric bike.
BUS
Victoria’s bus service is perfect for commuters and visitors. Check the BC Transit schedule and also NextRide, which gives you your bus’ real-time arrival.
In town to visit? The Hop-On Hop-Off double decker bus is an excellent way to explore the city.
CARSHARE
Carsharing is gaining popularity as an affordable and convenient alternative to private vehicle ownership. It’s more sustainable and reduces traffic, congestion and greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, the three Victoria providers are local co-operative Modo, Zipcar, and BC Evo Car Share.
