Many of the fabulous downtown restaurants that we know and love are offering outdoor service, as well as takeout and delivery. Downtown’s Patio Dining Continues in Style


Supporting local is important, especially right now with COVID restrictions in effect. Restaurants, like many other small businesses, have struggled, but we can help them survive. Downtown restaurants are offering takeout and delivery. Many of them have opened their patios for the season.

Darcy’s Pub

With 20 beers on tap, including the best of our local craft brewing scene, and a great selection of the finest bourbon around, you won’t be disappointed! It’s the perfect spot for a meal and a drink. They also have a location in the Westshore!


Frankie’s Modern Diner


Frankie’s Modern Diner serves fresh Italian food at its finest. Everything is made from scratch, in-house, and by hand! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including all your favourites. Plus, all the Junior Menu items on their kid’s menu come with dessert! Their menu is specially designed to make sure everyone can enjoy a meal together, so come see what happens when you mix fresh food with a whole lot of love!


Irish Times Pub


Built in 1894 as the Bank of Montreal, the Irish Times Pub is a beautiful heritage building with a fabulous patio in Bastion Square. Since they opened their doors in 2004, they have been voted Best Irish Pub in North America and among the top 10 Best Irish Pubs outside of Ireland! Their menu is full of delicious pub-style and Irish classics that should not be missed!


J.R. Slim’s


J.R. Slim’s is the place to go for decadent, indulgent, and easy-going fare, great drinks, and good times! Their menu is full of the best BC ingredients and with such choices as calamari, nachos, burgers, and more, they have something for everyone! LURE Restaurant & Bar


LURE Restaurant & Bar offers a prime waterfront location with fabulous views of downtown, comfy couches, and the warmth of fire pit heating. Chef Dan Bain creates amazing culinary treasures, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The bar serves up the best cocktails, wines, and local brews on tap. Whether you want a drink, a small plate, or a full meal, they have it covered!


Old Spaghetti Factory


The Old Spaghetti Factory has been a popular spot for Italian since 1970 and has located across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. They serve modern comfort food in a nostalgic setting, including their beautiful patio full of spring flowers. You won’t want to miss out on their sourdough bread and spumoni ice cream either!


Steamship Grill & Bar


Steamship Grill & Bar offers fantastic West Coast-inspired seafood, local craft beers, and a wine list featuring BC wines as well as a great selection from around the world. Built in 1924, the beautiful building was once the Steamship Terminal, welcoming visitors to our fair city.
