We have put together a list of some fantastic downtown restaurants with healthy menu options. And don’t forget that these restaurants aren’t the only ones downtown that want to see you succeed at eating well!

Nourish Kitchen & Cafe offers a casual restaurant and cafe, a culinary market, and a communal space for community creativity and education focused on enriching our culture through shared respect for the natural world. They are open for in-person business, online and phone orders, and same-day delivery via TUTTI.

 

10 Acres Farm and Restaurants

10 Acres has three restaurants and an online market where you can buy fresh produce, delicious bread, and tasty treats. Their two downtown locations are the Bistro and the Commons. The Bistro offers farm-fresh options for Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner, as well as a Happy Hour menu. At the Commons, you’ll find meals made for sharing, including seafood, tacos, sushi, and more! What they don’t grow and ethically raise themselves, they proudly source from other like-minded farmers and food purveyors.

 

Rebar Modern Food

Located in the historic and charming Bastion Square, Rebar Modern Food serves unbelievably tasty vegetarian comfort food. With a varied menu for both lunch and dinner, you will be delighted with your choices. Fresh juices and smoothies, espresso, and desserts made from scratch are also available and fantastic! They have a cookbook full of favourite recipes too if you want to bring the deliciousness home!

 

Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods

Tractor is a family-run business which began in Vancouver in 2013 and now has stores in Victoria and Toronto as well. They create meals with a high proportion of veggies combined with a balance of lean meats and fish, whole intact grains, and heart-healthy nuts and fats. They source as many ingredients locally as they can and make their food in small batches daily to ensure noticeable freshness. Their menu includes bowls, wraps, sandwiches, breakfast items, baked goods, and a selection of drinks!

Freshii believes that healthy food should be convenient and affordable. They have seven different menu categories – bowls, burritos, salads, wraps, soups, smoothies, and juices – as well as options for kids! Their menus are constantly evolving to incorporate the latest health and food trends, but they are always nutrient-dense and crave-worthy! They also have a catering menu, full of delicious and nutritious foods!

Be Love Restaurant

Be Love is a vegetarian restaurant, offering plant-based organic cuisine to support mind and body health. They use mindfully-sourced and seasonal ingredients to create their fantastic menu. Though the restaurant isn’t open for in-person seating right now, they are open for pick-up and online ordering! They have also launched The Variety Store, where you can buy chef-made groceries including condiments, sauces, ferments, pickles, provisions, stocks, soups, breads, and cakes.
