The 31st is here. It’s not only the end of the year but also the decade. Many take time to reflect, make goals, savour memories, and sit back and wonder what’s to come in the year 2020.

Speaking of wonder, have you wandered through Lights of Wonder yet? If you have, maybe it’s time for another visit with your dog, your family, a friend or yourself. This free all-access outdoor event features themed light exhibits, four interactive light tunnels, and a 40′ festive tree has been a stunning success. From little ones clapping and shouting to spark the interactive lights, to families out for a stroll hand in hand and more—there’s even been a proposal!

Tonight, Lights of Wonder will be open through to midnight! What a pretty and magical way to ring in the new decade and year. And if tonight’s already planned, remember you only have until Saturday night to revel in downtown Victoria’s new gorgeous and twinkling winter attraction. Thursday through Saturday there will also be live performances and vendors and our Giving Booth will be accepting donations for local charities Our Place Society, The Soup Kitchen, CFAX Santas Anonymous, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
