“I have two kids, I’m pregnant with my third. It’s inspiring to see other women who are doing this as well and proving that you don’t have to quit everything to have a business. You can do both.”

Charlotte has found independence and community as a small business owner. She started the brow bar six years ago. Since then, Charlotte has worked hard to make sure that Milk and Honey is more than a beauty industry destination. It is a safe and comfortable place for anyone to come and be treated. Milk and Honey offers a wide range of treatments including microblading, lash extensions, and hair removal.

Charlotte has always been drawn to downtown because of the wide variety of interesting shops and boutiques. Now that her business is part of this diverse landscape, Charlotte has discovered an incredible support network of women downtown who own small businesses. While it’s never easy to balance work and life, especially for a small business owner, Charlotte is inspired by the fact that she isn’t in this alone.
