The DVBA’s Clean Team complements the City’s efforts to keep our Downtown clean. The Clean Team is on duty from 8 am until 4 pm every weekday.

In 2017, the Clean Team collected 32,400 lbs of litter, safely disposed of 3271 needles and removed 6400 graffiti tags and has recycled almost 2 million cigarette butts since 2014.
Since 2005, People who commit and are found guilty of crimes downtown have been sentenced to perform a total of 1472 hours of community service with the DVBA clean team. 

Along with the team’s on-the-street work to keeping downtown clean and beautiful, the Clean Team can remove drug paraphernalia, graffiti from private properties within the boundaries of the Downtown Victoria Business Association.

  • City of Victoria – 250-361-0466 – public property
  • DVBA –  250-386-2238* – private property within the DVBA boundary.

*If the Clean Team is unable to remove the graffiti using their chemicals, they will offer alternative graffiti removal options – including providing the free labour to paint over the tag if your business/property provides the paint. Call our team today.
