Every year, the DVBA sets aside an allotment of funds for event grants. This year, 19 events were awarded funds from the organization. The finalized list was selected based on a variety of criteria including the date of the event, budget, accessibility, and alignment with the DVBA’s mission.

“The Downtown Victoria Business Association has been a longstanding supporter of Intrepid Theatre. We are immensely grateful for their support for OUTstages queer theatre festival, solo performance festival UNO Fest, and the Victoria Fringe Festival, which collectively draw 30,000 people downtown each year seeking arts and culture experiences. The investment from the DVBA in all three theatre festivals helps arts and culture in our city to thrive.”
