“We go with the philosophy of naturally technical clothing because nature does it better than anyone else.”

Paul started Anian in 2013 because he was tired of using synthetic outdoor-wear that doesn’t last. Essentially, Anian takes old wool clothing that would otherwise be thrown in the garbage and repurposes it into warm and fashionable clothes. The clothing industry is one of the biggest sources of waste in our society, and Paul took this problem as a major opportunity. He views it as his responsibility to take on the industry and show that there’s a better way to source. Using natural fibres is just a return to the way our society used to make clothing.

One of Paul’s biggest accomplishments is that the Anian clothing lines are just as durable as they are advertised to be. Anian outfits tree planters, guides, and explorers of all kinds. Anian’s signature wool shirts are 100% recycled and soon the entire line will be as well.
