Join us on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking People, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, for a family-friendly packed day, culminating in the always-magnificent fireworks display.

From rock to Brazilian music and dancing, from local Indigenous hip hop to Japanese drumming, this Canada Day may prove the most memorable yet. Chill and cheer with more than 48,000 fellow Canadians for a day of music, dance, poetry readings, choir, international food, kid zone and so much more.

“Last year’s Living Flag was the largest in Canada with 5,000 participants and we hope to set this record again this year,” said Charlayne Thornton-Joe, City of Victoria Councillor and Canada Day organizer.

Happy Canada Day! We have much and many to celebrate.
