Construction of a new waterfront pathway through the park is planned as part of improving connectivity along the David Foster Harbour Pathway. This will be a paved, wheelchair accessible pathway with guardrails and lighting, connecting the lower portion of Reeson Park with neighbouring properties.

Please be advised that public access to the lower half of Reeson Park will be temporarily closed as of Tuesday, September 5, 2017. During construction, the lower area of the park will be closed to the public. The rest of the park will remain open. Construction is anticipated to take between six and eight weeks. Construction hours will be limited from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Construction impacts will include noise from excavation and possible controlled blasting in the park. There are currently no plans for additional work in Reeson Park.
