We want everyone to enjoy their downtown experience, and encourage the use of active and sustainable modes of transportation when possible. We’ve listed transportation options to help you make the most of your visit.

It’s easier than you think. Check out our walk, transit and bike scores if you don’t believe us:

Downtown Victoria is ideal for walking. Curious about this city’s history? Check out our self-guided walking tours. For those with a sweet tooth, here are two guest blogs on candy shop walking tours of candy shops Part One and Part Two.

Biking is hugely popular. There are a few bike lanes now, and more on the way. Grab your helmet and hey, it never hurts to brush up on your bike skills.

Don’t have a bike? There are many options to buy a bike, rent a bike, or rent an electric bike.

Victoria’s bus service is perfect for commuters and visitors. Check the BC Transit schedule and also NextRide, which gives you your bus’ real-time arrival.

In town to visit? The Hop-On Hop-Off double decker bus is an excellent way to explore the city.
