Are you calm under pressure, want to be part of the action in an emergency, and give back to your community?
The City of Victoria and the Canadian Red Cross invite you to attend their upcoming Volunteer Fair to learn about volunteering with Victoria’s Emergency Social Services (ESS) and Cyclist Response (CRT) Teams.
Join us to view displays, learn more and ask questions on Tuesday, March 26 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at City Hall. The first half-hour will provide an opportunity to meet representatives of each volunteer team, and a PRESENTATION will follow at 6:30 p.m. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be served.
All volunteer training is FREE. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or over, have a valid driver’s license, and undergo a criminal record check.
An RSVP is not required. We hope you can join us!
