Welcome to Summer and the second series of the Victoria Climate Cafes!

Not heard of a climate café before? A climate café is a community-based discussion group where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences about climate change. This cafe is facilitated by a team from the University of Victoria to create a place where you can engage with a wide array of community members experiencing some of the same emotions you may be feeling about the climate crisis. Anxious, overwhelmed, isolated? As a community we can come together, enjoy tea and snacks (the cafe portion), and be open about how the climate crisis is affecting you and your community in a supportive and confidential group setting. You can learn more about climate cafés here.

This Summer sessions will be hosted bi-weekly starting June 28th at The Dock for Social Impact, 722 Cormorant St. Free and open to all members of the public, the sessions are from 6:30-8:00. Feel free to drop by for a session and you can fill out this form to get updates and meeting reminders; see you there! If you don’t think you may benefit but know someone who might please share this with them, the sessions are open to all and there is no commitment to attend multiple sessions.

Feel free to send us any questions you have and join us on Instagram (@victoriaclimatecafe)! See you at the cafe!
