Born in Oakville James Brown was given his first guitar at age 13. His interest rock music eventually lead him to the classical guitar in the 1980’s. After studies at Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of music shifted his energy into jazz improvisation and composition. James holds an MA in composition and is revered as a versatile and creative musician who’s personal style is melodic and harmonically engaging.
