The 9th Eventide continues in person!
Girls Rock Camp Victoria return as a curator this year bringing some cool acts from Vancouver!
Divorcer
Divorcer was formed in 2016 from a booth in Duffins Donuts and have been elusive sensations of the Vancouver pop underground ever since. Their newest release Nutty Grotto is a window into the members’ own mental cavities: at times disturbing, delightful, and possibly catchy. Divorcer delivers surprising melodies: the little ditties written in outhouses or discovered while staring at the squirrels across the street.

WUT
With an approach to music making that is simplistic yet bold, they conceive songs that possess a charming combo of strength and vulnerability. Quirky vocal harmonies, off-kilter melodies, sharply smart but sometimes funny lyrics peculiarize this Vancouver, B.C trio.

DJ Paisley Eva
Paisley Eva has become a force to be reckoned with in BC’s music industry. She started DJing in Vancouver at 18 and soon afterwards founded Dame Music Society, a non-profit organization that trained women and LGBTQIA2S+ folks to DJ in an effort to combat a white male dominated industry and continues to teach to this day. Beyond her teaching Paisley is also an event planner who started by planning shows with local and touring bands in DIY venues in her teens and now focuses on planning and organizing high energy parties featuring Indigiqueer and 2S DJs, drag artists and performers. She has founded many nights over the night, but currently is co-founder and co-planner of Hotlatch, an Indigiqueer/2S celebration. Her work is based in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh teachings and all about sharing equity within the music and event industry with her incredible communities. She is known for genre-spanning high energy sets that keep the crowd dancing.
This event takes place on the unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking people’s now known as the Esquimalt and Songhees nations.
