FALL CLOTHING SWAP

About the Event:

The Bay Centre is pleased to host seasonal clothing swaps in partnership with Used.ca.

Many of us have endured many challenges during the pandemic and this collaboration between the Bay Centre and Used.ca was created as an avenue to give back to our community while keeping sustainability in mind.

Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in our Spring 2023 Clothing Swap. Together we gave new purpose to over 1,800 lbs. of clothes! All remaining items from the spring clothing swap were donated to Victoria Women in Need Community Cooperative.

From the first clothing swap in September 2021 to date, over 11,400 lbs. of clothing items have been given a new purpose!

How it works:

• Secure your 30-minute Clothing Swap appointment at thebaycentre.ca. Group appointments up to 10 people welcome.
• Drop off your clothing donations between September 8 and September 24, 2023 at Guest Services located on the lower level of the Bay Centre.
• Do Bring: 10 to 25 items of women’s/men’s fall/winter clothing you no longer wear in good clean condition.
• Don’t bring: More than 25 items, stained, items with pet hair, ripped clothing, or undergarments.
• Find up to 10 new to you items during your pre-booked appointment at the Clothing Swap on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
• Snap a pic of your clothing finds and tag @thebaycentre & @used.ca in your pics.
• Any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
