In this demonstration class, you’ll learn to make a rolled chocolate sponge cake filled with a coffee-flavoured buttercream filling, studded with crushed toffee. The cake is finished with chocolate ganache and decorated with shards of chocolate ‘bark’ (not pictured).

You’ll also learn to make adorable meringue ‘mushrooms’ a sweet crunchy garnish for your yule log.

A Bûche de Noël could be the start of a new Christmas tradition!

Samples included. Class length may vary depending on student numbers, questions, etc.

Important note: In keeping with British Columbia’s Covid guidelines, attendees are required to wear masks during class. (Masks can be removed while sampling food, of course.) Registration is limited to 14 guests but as space is limited, seating will NOT be two meters apart. We are requesting proof of vaccination as an additional precaution.
