As we all navigate through these uncertain times, we at BC Association for Living Mindfully trust this finds you healthy and coping well.
We have been working on on-line offerings to help bring some peace, support and togetherness to our community. We invite you to join our facilitator for a one hour guided meditation. This time together will not allow for individual check in but rather is provided to nurture our sense of community and togetherness.
Participation is completely voluntary and while there is no set “fee” to attend, we humbly ask that you donate what you can which will assist us to keep connected with all of you and offer more gatherings: SUPPORT BCALM
We will be using the video platform “Zoom” and you will need reliable internet access and your own device to participate. In preparation for these session we thought we would give you a few tips to make the time together run a little more smoothly.
1. Get acquainted with Zoom and have all needed program downloaded and trialed on your device (https://zoom.us/)
2. In order to allow you to participate fully and also to respect the privacy of the other participants, please have yourself set up on your computer or tablet in a private space (with the door closed). Please have all other screens closed and notifications turned off so that you can give your full attention to participating.
3. The session will begin at 9:00am so join the Zoom call 10-15 minutes ahead of the gathering to test your volume and video (they make it quite easy but it is hard to do when the session has already started and you feel rushed.)
