Interim Executive Director
Jeff Bray grew up in Vancouver, B.C. After graduating from UBC, Bray embarked on a 13-year career with the BC Government. In 2001, Bray was elected the MLA for Victoria-Beacon Hill. More recently, Bray was the Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Shaw in BC. Bray is currently President of Capital Public Affairs Inc., a public affairs consulting firm. Bray is Vice-Chair of the Royal BC Museum Foundation, Vice-Chair of the Garth Homer Society, Vice-President of the Former MLA Association of BC, and is Vice-President of the North Quadra Community Association.
Clean Team Manager
Rob Caunter has been with the DVBA for 10 years. Rob started pushing a cart for the DVBA and has worked his way up to managing the Clean Team. Rob spends a lot of his time out on the streets managing the team and working on infrastructure projects.
Kristy Fallon works on a range of projects to promote Downtown. She has a background in Public Relations and Communications having previously worked for the Maritime Museum of BC, and in Ottawa at the Canada Dance Festival, Accreditation Canada and HRSDC.
Alison Gair has been with the DVBA for more than 11 years. Alison manages the administration of the office and works with the team to provide support for ongoing projects. The voice on the phone and the friendly face you see in the office, Alison is an integral part of the team with a strong background in all things downtown.
Cultural Outreach manager
Ian Piears has been a resident of Victoria for five years after moving here from the UK. Before moving to Canada, he had a successful career working in theatre in London and Europe. Since moving to Victoria, Ian has worked with the Victoria Symphony as the Volunteer Coordinator for Symphony Splash and most recently as the Event Coordinator for the annual TD Art Gallery Paint-In for two years running.
