Cupping Dogwood Blossoms is one of twelve bronze sculptures from The Hands of Time series by artist Crystal Przybille, created to commemorate Victoria’s 150th anniversary in 2012. Mounted on a lamp post along Belleville Street, across from the British Columbia Legislature, the piece features a pair of life-sized hands gently holding Pacific dogwood blossoms—the official floral emblem of British Columbia. This delicate gesture symbolizes care, reflection, and the nurturing of both the present moment and future generations.
