Mungo Martin House
The Mungo Martin House, also known as Wawadit’la, is a traditional Kwakwaka’wakw "big house" located in Thunderbird Park, adjacent to the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, British Columbia. Constructed in 1953 by Chief Mungo Martin, a renowned Indigenous carver and cultural leader, the house serves as a living testament to the rich heritage and traditions of the Kwakwaka’wakw people.
