Union Pacific Coffee Company was started in 2006 with the idea of taking a rundown empty space and making it into something special. After many years working in the service industry owners Jim and Candy Walmsley decided to design and build a business of their own. When moving from Vancouver Jim decided to bring his favourite coffee with him by serving JJ Bean coffee in Union Pacific. Along with Jim and Candy’s design ideas they transformed the old building at 537 Herald St. to what it is today; a vibrant, rustic modern and warm environment serving quality coffee and locally made baked goods and sandwiches.
