Small Business Month Continues…

In celebration of Small Business Month, we put together a list of new downtown businesses. Opening a new business is always a major feat, but opening during a pandemic takes another level of courage and determination. So, let’s welcome these new businesses and wish them well.

Market Collective by Shi

1150 Douglas St #226 (Unit #226 in The Bay Centre)

Market Collective by Shi hosts a carefully curated collection from over 60 makers, designers, artists, and food producers of Canada’s handmade movement. Market Collective by Shi was created to help mitigate some of the extensive financial losses predicted for many of the featured artists/artisans due to COVID-19 and the fact that in-person Markets have been cancelled across the board. The Market Collective shop is a response to the need for venues for local creators to be available for holiday shopping.
