For many residents and businesses in Victoria, the Community Casual Labour Pool (CCLP) has helped them get the job done. From landscaping and yard work to cleaning and janitorial work, moving, hauling, office and retail work, odd jobs and seasonal work, the CCLP has workers for almost any job out there.

“Since 1999, the Community Casual Labour Pool has provided skilled and reliable workers to thousands of residential and commercial jobs” says Wendy Stone, Program Coordinator. “Every day I have the opportunity to connect workers with work, which is pretty amazing. Last year we filled over 300 jobs; providing income to workers eager to find employment.”

C1 Janitorial & Building Services Ltd has been using the CCLP since the beginning.

“The Community Casual Labour Pool has been an effective resource for my company in meeting my short-term needs,” says owner Ralph Dafoe. “Wendy is efficient and very responsive to my calls.”

“Our workers are skilled, motivated, eager and hard-working,” says Stone. “And as an organization, we pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our workers and employers, a responsive dispatch process and no administration fees, which results in a cost savings to employers and a better wage for the worker.”

Booking workers is a fast, flexible and easy process; there are no long term contracts and the CCLP does not charge employers a fee for using the service.
