Described as “an acid trip struck by lightning” and “the rebellious daughter of goth and ska”, Raincity is a Vancouver-based Rage-Funk band fronted by women on saxophone and vocals. The five members of Raincity combine their eclectic influences including Moon Hooch, Amy Winehouse, Queen, and Rage Against the Machine.

Their live shows are unique and explosive. They have performed over 350 shows since their inception opening for acts such as Too Many Zooz, Bif Naked, Lucky Chops, and Five Alarm Funk. They have headlined festivals including Squamish Local Fest, Powtown Shakedown, Forest Echoes Fest, alongside performing at Rifflandia, Canadian Music Week, Uptown Live, Shipyards Festival and many more. In 2022 they released their debut album “A Proper Latte” followed by a 19 date Canadian tour. They released a Canadian cover album, “ohyeanofursurebud”, early in 2023 with many more new songs on the way!

Chase The Bear is a rock and roll band from Vancouver, BC that mixes catchy hooks, roaring electric guitars, and hard-hitting rhythms inspired by classic rock with influences of indie, soul, R&B, and pop.

The outfit has been playing in the southern end of the province since 2015, starting by busking on the streets of Victoria after brothers Troy and Leo Gilmore and childhood friends Connor Brooks and Braedan Royer moved from Fort St. John, B.C. with the dream to turn music into a career. They quickly gained recognition for their catchy original music and singer Troy’s bluesy, powerhouse voice before picking up keyboardist Kevin Parker and guitarist Jordan Phillips.

A band of blood brothers, childhood friends, and musical prodigies, Chase The Bear shows unrivaled chemistry on stage with tasty harmonies, dueling guitar solos, and an explosion of talent, passion, and youthful energy, showing that this isn’t a rock n’ roll revival band – Chase The Bear is a whole new animal ready to take the world by storm.
