On July 24, 2014, Victoria City Council gave three readings to Business Improvement Area Bylaw 14-062 which formally began the process for renewing the DVBA’s mandate for another five-year period.  Over the past five years, we have worked, on your behalf, on various initiatives and projects which we hope have made a difference for you.  We trust that all member business and property owners received a letter in July 2014, from Board Chair, Fran Hobbis, requesting your support for continuation of the DVBA and renewal of our mandate.  Included with the letter was a brochure outlining the procedure which was followed for renewal, the budgets proposed over the coming five years, and some highlights of our work.
