Event: Victoria Hospice’s first Bucket List Festival is happening Feb 1 at the Laurel Point Inn. Developed for end-of-life patients and their caregivers, the Festival features experts offering ideas and advice on travelling with health and mobility issues, advance care planning, navigating the health system, using technology to stay in touch with loved ones, creating a memoir and strategies for helping caregivers cope with stress and care for themselves. Dragon's Den Season 9 Open Auditions

Location: Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour

Event: Aspiring entrepreneurs should be prepared to pitch their concept to the Dragon's Den producers in five minutes or less.  If they show the producers they've got the chops to land financial backing for their business venture, they could be invited into the Den to brave the Dragons.  Prospective pitchers are encouraged to apply online and bring a completed application form to the audition.

Jail or Bail Fundraiser with St. Andrew's High School

February 1, 10 am - 6 pm

Location: The Bay Centre (Level 2 bridge)

Event: St. Andrew's students will lock up various jail cell participants including CTV's Hudson Mack, CBC's JoAnne Roberts, Constable Paul Egli, Justice Jennifer Power, Superintendent Joe Colistro, and many more, in support of Developing World Connection.  Donations will be collected from the general public so these participants can obtain their release.  Bail has been set at $500, $750, or $1000 for each participant.  (All donations of $20 or more are 100% tax deductible).

Farmer's Market Location: inside the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson, 1701 Douglas Street

Event: Victoria's food-focused year-round Farmers' Market, featuring local food, farms, artisans, food producers, and live music, takes place every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday inside the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson, which opened its doors in September, 2013.

Event: Planning on experiencing the Maritime during Tourist in Your Home Town? Be sure to drop-in during one of our scheduled gallery tours that will be taking place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day. Tours will be on a wide array of topics including but not limited to the History of Fort Victoria, the Courthouse, Shipwrecks and General Gallery tours.
