A Perfect afternoon

I was kindly invited to join the first Bike ‘n’ Bites City Tour of the season. The tour is a partnership between Bike Tours Victoria BC and the Food Eco District (FED).

History, sustainability, food, and biking in phenomenal weather, all bundled into one fantastic tour—talk about my idea of a perfect spring afternoon!

Let me tell you

What makes this tour great? Let me tell you. Even if you think you know Victoria, you’re bound to learn something interesting on this tour. Not only do you get a history lesson—much more interesting than the lectures of high school—you also learn about sustainable initiatives of many local restaurants. Oh, and delicious nibbles along the way, too. Bike rentals are included, and the guides are kind and knowledgeable.

More from fed

I highly recommend taking the tour with Bike Tours Victoria BC. If you want to go solo, however, FED has self-guided tour information on their website. You won’t meet the fantastic tour guides or hear funny and/or mildly disturbing historical facts about our little city, but you will learn all about FED and discover some great eateries with environmentally sustainable values.

The FED Bike ‘n’ Bites tour officially begins for the summer season on May 1, 2019! Contact Bike Tours Victoria to plan your tour this summer. You won’t regret it, I promise.

Enjoy learning, eating, and biking!
– Becca
